The Maven team certainly isn’t slowing down for summer, but we have been appreciative of the sunnier days as of late here at our headquarters in Pittsburgh.
As we forged ahead with adding and updating features in our LTL and truckload operations, telematics, and driver management software suites this month, we also sponsored trucking industry events such as SMC3 Connections, as well as contributed our insights to publications and programs like FreightWaves TV, Transport Topics, Commercial Carrier Journal, and Food Logistics.
We are also excited to share more information in an additional blog post about our P&D platform’s new Automated Planning & Route Optimization software.

Event Recap: SMC3 Connections 2022
Maven was proud to be the Platinum Sponsor at the annual SMC³ Connections conference, an LTL-focused networking and educational trucking, logistics, and supply chain event that took place from June 27th-29th, 2022 in San Diego, California. We enjoyed discussing how to automate P&D planning and optimize routes on our all-in-one operations software suite with leaders at carriers and other attendees.
The keynote speaker kicking off the conference on Monday, June 27th, was none other than Earvin “Magic” Johnson, who discussed the winning formula that has brought him success from the basketball court to the boardroom. Attendees were also welcomed with Maven ballcaps at their seats, and additional items were given away throughout the three-day event. Other speakers at SMC3 Connections included CEOs and a variety of leading specialists in LTL trucking and transportation. Networking and breakout sessions, a golf outing, delicious meals, and an evening by the San Diego Bay rounded out the event.
